The Shooting Ground was founded in 1989 by Terry Harper and has catered for the traditional game shooter ever since, both in the use of the high valleys capable of throwing challenging driven clay days, or whether it be the excellent tuition packages available for the discerning shot.
The Grounds
Cotton Dale Shooting Ground is set in the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds, from which it takes its name. Opened in July 1989, the ground offers facilities for shooters of all standards. Located just off the B1249 Driffield/Scarborough road. It is ideally situated for easy access from the east coast, being approximately 10 miles from Scarborough and an hour’s drive from Leeds. The natural contours of the land lends itself superbly to the sporting gun.

The Clubhouse
The Clubhouse which was converted from an old farm building, incorporating a 40 seat restaurant offering a range of home-made foods.
